CLOUD (FILE SERVER)

The Cloud File Server allows sharing files and downloading files, usually when working together on a project.

Accessing the Server requires a username and password, which will be assigned to you.

Three options can be used to access and share files

  1. Web Interface (Online Access via web browser)

  2. Map a Network drive in Windows Explorer

  3. Using the Desktop Sync software (installation required)

Web Interface

You can share and download files by accessing our web interface with your web browser.

  1. Open https://cloud.ebner-zt.com

  2. Sign in with your username and password (user credentials will be assigned to you individually)

  3. Two folders are implemented

    1. Ebner2Partner: Download-Directory (Files provided by Ebner ZT for you)

    2. Partner2Ebner: Upload-Directory (Files can be uploaded by you)

Download Files

  1. Open the Ebner2Partner directory

  2. Select (multiple) files by clicking on the right-hand bottom of the file symbol


     

  3. Click "Herunterladen"

Upload Files

  1. Open the Partner2Ebner directory

  2. Click on + and choose "Datei hochladen"

  3. To create a folder choose "Neuer Ordner"

Map a network drive

You can map a network drive with Windows Explorer.

  1. Open Windows Explorer or My Computer

  2. Right-click on Computer and select: Map network drive/Netzlaufwerk verbinden












     

  3. Follow the assistant and use the following information to connect:
    Drive: Choose a Drive letter of your preference
    Folder: https://cloud.ebner-zt.com/remote.php/webdav/

  4. When prompted for a username and password use the user credentials provided by us

Using the Desktop Sync Software

Benefits

  • When new files are uploaded to the server they will automatically be download (continuous synchronisation)

  • You can upload files using the Windows Explorer Drag & Drop or Copy & Paste features.

This option requires the installation of the Nextcloud Desktop Client on your local PC. User permissions may prohibit software installation, in which case you may have to contact your system administrator.

Downloading and installing the sync software for Windows (Nextcloud Desktop Client)

  1. Open https://nextcloud.com/clients/

  2. Locate the "Download now" button on the website, then choose "Windows"

  3. Install software

Configure sync software (Nextcloud Desktop Client)

  1. Start Nextcloud software

  2. When prompted for Server (Serveradresse), insert:
    cloud.ebner-zt.com

  3. When prompted for a username and password use the user credentials provided by us

  4. Choose settings as preferred and hit connect,
